Departure Date Dilemma

To go early, or not to go early? That is the question.

As of right now, my flight is scheduled for September 6th. Originally it was August 31, but I pushed it back a week cause my sister's due date was August 28 and I wanted to spend as much time with the baby as possible. But her delivery date got changed to August 21.

I just got an email yesterday informing me about all these orientation events. So now I am debating if I should take an earlier flight so that I can partake on all of these activities and get better acclimated. This would mean less time with family and friends...and the new baby :(

Any thoughts??

Dinner with the Irish

Last night I had dinner with Dr. Mooney - the organizer of the University of College, Dublin exchange program at Pepperdine and four Irish UCD girls currently studying here at Pepperdine. We met up at Taverna Tony in Malibu. It was really great to talk to them and learn more about the school and the city. I am getting more and more excited about going! After dinner we went over to Barrel for a drink and guess who walks in? Jeremy Piven!

Sadly today I got an email saying that I did not get UCD on campus housing. So as of now, I don't know where I am going to live. But me and Talia may get an apartment off campus. We shall see. Stay tuned...
